It's different people. The main leaf blower bloke does this in the evenings, this is someone across the road doing a lawn and hedges that don't need doing, but require the use of a lawn mower, strimmer and leaf blower. Of course becuase he's older, these are about 40 years old and run on enriched uranium and lead, so take about 10 mins to start each one with the rip chords, and when they get going it's like having acdc playing in the street.

And there's a couple of small trees in people's gardens, but mostly ferns and I don't think I've seen a single leaf anywhere. Probably becuase these strawberry floaters don't give them a chance to even touch the ground.

Our neighbour has drenched our garden sofa and table with water. I'm assuming they're just a dozy strawberry floating banana split and did it accidentally when watering their hanging basket but, strawberry float me, it's everywhere. If it happens again I'm genuinely going to have to get all Buffalo about it.

I'm actually getting a hedge trimmer tomorrow, but being considerate I've deliberately gone for one that's billed as being quiet (as quiet as these things can be I suppose). I will however compensate for this by having the car engine idling on the drive while I trim my Bush in front of the neighbours at 6am.

That reminds me, on a call a few days back we somehow got on to the subject of knowing random people, and for some reason I decided to say I sort of know towel guy, which involved me then having to describe who and what it is, and that I know it through a gaming forum, and I was just hearing myself explaining this to managers and thinking, "why the strawberry float am I even telling them this?"
