The paint work had to be done anyways, when i inspected the gnome after retrieval, it had been pretty badly weathered (one of the ears is already broken) and needed a bit of patching up to make sure this winter doesn't finish it off.

The red hat actually looks really good now (had to be red as i didn't have any yellow anyways), i've removed the GR logo though just in case degenerate neighbour bloke spots it.

You can probably fix the ear with some clay, it's about £3 from the works and should dry out ready to paint within a day.

Holy crap, our strawberry floating neighbours, man. They've paid a dodgy add strawberry float looking bloke to come and remove all the hedges and cut back the trees from the green in front of our properties. It's council land and the bushes looked nice and offered a bit of extra privacy to us but somehow this stupid, fat bitch thinks she can get it all chopped down. It's not even on your strawberry floating property, you bitch!

Think I'm going to complain to the council but I don't anything will be done. Hopefully the people doing the work will at least get a fine as they should never have agreed to it. It's clearly public land.

I was worried I was being petty but we see lots of birds in that area and have seen plenty of hedgehogs in the undergrowth so, from a selfless perspective, they're damaging the wildlife. Ignorant twats.

I've told my wife to deny all knowledge if we get approached by the neighbours.
