I love how it's described as a "cottage on wheels". I call it a caravan.

We all know my thoughts on whether we should have a monarchy, I'm sure.

Having said that - tremendous move by William. This will most likely be hugely helpful and significant in slowly changing attitudes among the kind of 'traditional' folk who adore the royals but are intolerant of LGBT individuals.

If we are keeping the monarchy skip Charles and give it straight to Bill pls.

I am not particularly pro or anti-monarchy but I do like William and strongly believe Charles to be quite shady and underhand in comparison. William taking the throne would probably send their popularity sky-rocketing.

The next monarch to be chosen based on an X Factor style ITV show?

Watch Prince Andrew sing Westlife's "Flying Without Wings"

Prince Harry joined by Eminem for a performance of "Forgot About Dre"

Prince Charles sings Danzig's "Mother"

With a moving tribute to Princess Di, sung by Zara Phillips.

Why can't we have a "leave"/"remain" vote for the monarchy?

With opinion polls putting approval ratings at 80%+ it would an epic waste of money.

Because the Queen wouldn't sign off on the law allowing such a referendum.

Can I kill the queen and become the king? That is how it used to work so if we must keep something outdated, same rule set should apply.

You must first be accused of treason and then decline a trial by judge or jury and instead insist on a trial by combat. If the monarch has any honour then they will fight and you have your chance.

Only thing to bear in mind here is that the Monarch could nominate a champion to fight for them, so you might end up facing the Rock or Andy McNab.

No they couldn't. Nominating a champion was outlawed back in 1756, the monarch must now fight or else face ridicule and utter dishonour.
