Meh, that price isn't as silly as This.

Was going to buy one until I saw the price, I'm very reluctant to pay that much for something I might not be able to use.

This

I don't own an xb1 yet when i watched the conference I marvelled at how good the controller looked.

But this price is insane! You could pick up a Wii U for less

Do not pre order games from Amazon!
PLAY | Final Fantasy VII Rebirth [59h]
WATCH | Ted Lasso S2, HiJack S1
RACE | Rome Marathon (March), Chew Valley 10k (June), GNR (Sept)

While you could get a Wii U for less there are more games to play with the Xbone Elite Super-Duper Mega Awesome Super Controller 2.0.

For 130 I'd just put that money towards a new PC as even a cheap PC these days can run most things alright.

130 for one perhiperal, holy gooseberry fool.

Wasn't Steel Battalion released at around the same price? Of course for that money you also got a game along with a controller the size of a house.

If people buy it (and they will) then nobody can fault Microsoft for making money

It is a nice controller, but I'm not really sure who the market is. When the choice comes down to 3 or 4 games or a controller, I doubt there will be that many prepared to go with the controller option. Maybe this will sell better to the PC crowd.

Man, that was a *proper* controller. Totally incredible and ridiculous. The game was crazily tough but, frankly, the controller made up for it.

Got the green button version 8-) .

Pfft, razor blades and nails are for sissies. Package the game with a shock collar that zaps you every time the words "YOU DIED" appear on screen... you'll soon git gud.

Dark Souls III Prepare to Fry Edition.

I won't take any "pro-gamer" seriously if they play FPS with a controller.

I'm quite happy with my old wired 360 controller I have hooked up to my PC. The control scheme is pretty much identical to the Xbox One so most multi-platform games can be used with it fairly smoothly. Also, MS were incompetent enough to make their new console with controllers that require you buy a charging kit (even though Sony had this as standard last gen!) so if I did not want to go through a gooseberry fool load of batteries I would have to pay extra.

That controller looks lush but I would never pay more than £50 for a controller regardless of it being elite or not.

For £130, I want nothing less than the original Steel Battalion controller.

There is a wireless adapter coming but no idea if it works with this one. But with all the little tweaks that make this "pro" for "serious fps play" you're going to want to stay wired.
