So, the Birmingham panto was pretty by-the-numbers. The Brummie dragon was hilarious, though.
I think I'm a little bit in love with Danielle Hope, too. She sings a verse or two of On My Own in the show. I'd have loved to have seen her run as Eponine
Gok Wan wasn't as bad as I was expecting, either. He's got potential if he does decide to do more theatrical stuff.
EDIT: Also, bit of a long shot, but has anyone seen any of Matthew Bourne's ballets? Are they any good? He always seems to do things a little differently with predominantly male casts, so I almost want to go just to see how it compares to the more... traditional shows.
