Got Andre Chenier in May. Tosca in June. Then Nozze Di Figaro in July and Swan lake in August.



Incidentally - if anyone does ever fancy a trip to the opera - I've got early access booking now. 4-6 weeks ahead of general booking for each season. Take a gander at the ROH website and if there's anything you fancy - drop me a pm. I'm allowed upto 9 tickets for each show.

Or the violin virtuoso on the 1st April.
The first one sounds nice as well.

They look the most accessible. The others might be a little more niche.

That was strawberry floating unbelievable. I think they're good in the studio but they really take it beyond when playing live, had seen them in a large venue before but to see a tiny hall packed and bouncing with them was crazy. Fantastic.

Lion King is SO strawberry floating good.

I went to see Sundara Karma live recently, and they were amazing, especially Flame. They synced the lights so well to the beat of the song, it looked amazing.

But anyways this band Whenyoung was supporting them and the last song they played was so good, it's one of those songs that doesn't sound too extraordinary with headphones but live it just sounds out of this world.



It's funny how some songs sound better live and some worse.

Just received my members handbook for the new season at the opera House. Once again if anyone fancies seeing an opera or ballet in London - let me know. I can probably get you decent, cheaper seats.

Cost me 100 quid for membership but I've bought about 30 tickets this year for myself and friends. Most at very reasonable prices. Saved me a fortune.

There's some lovely stuff being performed over the next 12 months.

Saw Tame Impala at the 02 on Saturday. I wasn’t a massive fan before but strawberry floating hell, it was one of the best gigs I’ve ever been to! Incredible experience.

I went to see The Book of Mormon at the weekend with my family. I was expecting to enjoy it just not quite as much as I did, it was bloody fantastic and I still have one of the songs stuck in my head.

Oddly enough it’s left me wanting to read the actual Book of Mormon. Considering the creators it really doesn’t take the piss that much, painting Mormons as an odd but ultimately likeable bunch.

I love how well they seem to take it, too. The programme is full of adverts for their church Can't imagine any other group taking it in such good humour.

It's such a bizarre show. Hoping they announce the proper tour soon. Would be good to get to see it again somewhere close by.

On my way home from London. Went to the Royal Opera House to see La Boheme. Absolutely stunning.

Unsurprising but still devastating news. Royal Opera House has closed. No Pagliacci for me in April.

I'm lucky I got to see Book of Mormon a few weeks ago while the theaters were still open. I loved it.

Bit late, but there's a lot of free streaming of shows thanks to the lockdown. The National Theatre are streaming a free show a week, starting tonight with One Man, Two Guv'nors. (And then Jane Eyre, Twelfth Night and Treasure Island).

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat is streaming tomorrow too, if anyone fancies some Webber.

EDIT: Just started the second act of One Man, Two Guv'nors. The audience participation is fantastic I don't really like Corden but he's great in this.
