But it takes time to make changes. I think the main thing is the way he's been analysing previous games and getting players to understand what they need to do.

I understand that, of course, it just feels sudden. I hadn't noticed too much in the way of gradual improvements to be honest, and then bang, suddenly we're averaging 4 goals a game. I'm not complaining!

We've definitely got better after he took over. We looked strengthened at the back but we weren't really getting chances.

As it stands they are down, mathematically they'd have a chance but they are never going to get to level points with Wigan and overturn the goal difference.
