Just about deserved victory based on the second half. Only saw the penalty incident once, was very clumsy but I thought it was a penalty, although wouldn't be surprised to change my mind based on a second viewing.

6th place now well and truly in our own hands, however based on what I've seen there is still no way I am confident of making it across the line. Even if we do, we're in for one hell of a hiding in the semifinal :dread:.

It’s in our hands as well, next week is a massive game.

I think you’ll beat us though.

I've not seen you play for a while, however I have seen us play a lot, and if you actually think we're better than you then you must be absolutely terrible!

You've both had periods of being really good and really bad.

I guess we'll see which sides turn up!

On our day we are great. But our day was in 1976.

Getting very nervous now, we’re on the cusp of automatic (especially if Leeds lose against Villa on Sunday) now, its up to us not to mess it up.

Didn't realise there was a Sheffield Utd fan on here. Would much rather they go up than Leeds, and I think if Leeds lost out on automatic promotion they'd been on a bit of a downer and potentially easier to beat in the playoffs...

When we played Leeds at the start of the season I thought this would happen. Bielsa has them playing at such a tempo, it was inevitable they wouldn't be able to sustain it over the season. If they miss out on automatic though, you have to say you wouldn't fancy them for the playoffs. Villa must be favourites for that with the form they'd bringing in.

Can't stand Sheff Utd after the Ched Evans stuff and the Jess Ennis stuff. Sadly, if it's a choice of them or Leeds which it is, I guess I'd rather the Blades go up over Leeds (Leeds :dread: ).

I do worry that it's just a matter of time that Leeds are back into the Premiership though. A playoff final between Villa and Leeds would be horrendous.

Not as bad as a Villa v Derby final :dread:

We got a point. Luton were tough opponents though.

I'd be more than happy not to be in the same league as any of Sheff United, Leeds or Villa. May two of them go up.

Why the Villa hate?

From a Blackburn and Brighton fan no less.

It was mainly a joke, but I think I heard that they were doing a second season.

I believe they are filming a second season. I don't know if Netflix have officially confirmed it, but I'm sure they've been shooting it all season so I guess the studio making it has been given an indication that it's on the cards.

I don't know what to hope for tomorrow - I don't expect Barnsley to drop any points and we can't catch them unless they do. I don't want to play Pompey in the play-offs. I really don't want to play Charlton because of the memories. :dread:

The tv studio would probably be over the moon with a play-off against Charlton, going to penalties, for the "drama".

Sounds like we're getting absolutely battered. Very doubtful we will hold out, especially without Tomori.
