Have to say since about 10 minutes in Middlesbrough have been in total control. Won't be able to complain if they go on and win it.

Saville could have been sent off but it was just about borderline.

The lack of consistency in this team will be our downfall.

Good day so far. Villa dropping points, Blackburn and Bristol winning, Leeds losing, Derby and Boro both picking up a point.

The only sour note is Sheffield United winning.

Edit: Portsmouth Pirates won as well.

No complaints about todays performance, 3 wins on the bounce and a great way to start 2019. Results ahead of us definitely went our way as well.

Well today has blow the automatic race open a bit. Didn't realise Sheffield United were so close to the top 2 before today.

Went to today's game. Had a very poor first half. Second half was better and we did have a chance to win it. Good time for the FA Cup break for us and we lost another 2 players to injury today, which means if we had to play tomorrow 4 of our 1st choice players are out.

For the first time this season, I'm hopeful that Wimbledon may not be relegated. In the fourth round of the Cup for the first time, and actually look competent going forward. Very happy and very pleased.

But but but, Glowy said this couldn't happen!

I told you but you didn't want to believe it. This is what happens when you borrow someone who ends up doing well. If you bought him, like we did with Grabban, then it's a different story

Oh well, RIP Villa's season 8-)

Don’t Chelsea have to sell something like 30 players this summer due to UEFA changing the rules on loans?

Makes sense that Chelsea will move players like Tammy to clubs that might actually buy him or to Prem clubs where Tammy is more in the shop window.

Well, at least Sheffield United getting knocked out of the FA Cup by Barnet means they can’t blame poor performances on being in cups as well as the league. I could only follow the match by BBC text and the highlight on the BBC as well, we didn’t really look (well sound) like scoring despite a few near misses.

On the train back from London and there's an Oldham fan on board chuffed at his team knocking Fulham out. We both ended up watching the end of the Newport v Leicester game and cheered that result like it was out own.

Love cup upsets
