Just a reminder Sunderland's playoffs record is so bad, the only time we were promoted through them we actually lost in the final, but then Swindon were denied promotion owing to 'financial irregularities'. Not sure that's likely this time.

Things can change. We didn't win anything at Wembley after 1973, until we won the pizza trophy.

And what a beautiful trophy it is.

The hard work starts now, but what a result. The crowd was the 12th, 13th & 14th man, holy hell what a racket.

Yeah Sunderland are too big a club to be outside the top two divisions. Plus now Newcastle are pure evil they're basically everyone's second team.

Yeah?! Ah I hope so. They’re a bunch of bloody daft lads but I still love the club after all the shite they’ve put us through.

So, any other GRcaders going to Wembley for Forest v Huddersfield?

Managed to snap up a ticket for my missus today when the latest tranche were made available at midday, literally got it less than 5mins before we sold out our full allocation too! She’s just happy to be there even if it she is 2 tiers away from me and the kids.

Absolutely buzzing for the game and still 5 sleeps to go .

I've not been able to go to games for a while so didn't have the recent history to get a ticket. Looked at the Huddersfield site and they have 1000s of tickets still available which they definitely won't sell all of - which is annoying.

Going to head into town and find a pub to watch it in.

Managed to get hospitality tickets today off someone who picked up 2 of the 50ish that got released this morning. So been a mad rush to sort out logistics this afternoon

I was going to try but had a lot of family gooseberry fool going on, so it'll be the TV for me. Cheer them on for me, fellow Red Dogs. :)
