In other news, I’m not sure how I feel about tomorrow’s West Country Derby. Whilst we are having a gooseberry fool season it would be nice just to beat Cardiff especially after our last game.

The Bee's fan stuck up for the kid.

Since when was Cardiff in the West Country? :dread:

Couldn't get my hands on a ticket. Can't quite believe it could be the last BCT game ever, and our penultimate last game ever :?. Still hoping for a miracle...

I read yesterday that an offer had been submitted a takeover offer for Derby. Is that not likely to be accepted? Surely it's better than the club disappearing.

Unless Middlesbrough and Wycombe drop their claims, a sale can't go through. It seems we're just being blocked from a takeover being allowed to go through while their claims are in place, so we will eventually (very soon) run out of money and simply cease to exist. Middlesbrough and Wycombe know there is no money to pay them even if they win, which is unlikely as their claims are utterly ridiculous, so I guess they're just upholding them out of spite.

Sorry, OOTL here, what claims? The Wycome one presumably relates to the DCFC's points deduction being carried over to this season, but I haven't heard anything about the Boro claim.

Correct about Wycombe. The Boro claim is that if we hadn't gained an advantage by overspending, they would have finished 6th instead of 7th in 2018/19, gone on to beat Villa at Wembley and earned more money in the Premier League.

Yep. Pretty clear it's a personal vendetta between him and Morris.

That's so speculative it's unreal, should've been dismissed immediately.

Not a good day to end the winning/unbeaten streak :|.

That was a painful watch. Performance wasn't the worst but Jesus, it was so stop/start; foul after foul after foul.

Firstly thanks for the 3 points and allowing us to keep the BCT OB! ;)

Re your future, the £28m offer yesterday comes with assurances they’ll cover any additional liabilities adjudged in favour of Boro &/or Wycombe doesn’t it?

You’ll survive. But hopefully as a League 1 club although We play Barnsley and Cardiff next 2 games. We could do you a favour in those, especially if we beat Cardiff. At least everyone around you also lost today

Shameful how long we've gone without it .

That's news to me... all I keep seeing is total doom and gloom. At this point I'd happily accept you going up and us going down if it meant we survived as a club.

If we can survive, retain players and keep playing as we are then there is still a chance we will stay up, as slim as that may be. Big game next weekend against Blues, who have been struggling a lot themselves.
