The abuse from people at work makes this so much worse .

This is how Forest fans must have felt for years ;).

Think it's going to be a bit of a dull, drawn-out conclusion to the season for us.

Then again Villa are just as bad and we've got them next :shifty:.

Will your chairman keep Lampard if he doesn’t get into the play offs?

Yes I think so. There was a bit too much budget control from the outset to justify a minimum top 6 requirement. Expectations adjusted somewhat following a strong run of both performances and results. Performances have fallen back into line and more recently so have results (we were cashing in on a good deal of luck for a while).

If it makes you feel any better I’ve been getting it tight today from work colleagues and people who are no-longer friends as well.

Watching the Premier League Years 06/07 and remembering happier times. Like the time Blackburn missed two penalties at home against Bolton. Or the time Blackburn got dicked 4-0 by Chelsea. Or 4-1 by United. Or the time Tugay scored a 35 yard screamer, only to be sent off and condemn Blackburn to a 1-2 home loss to Spurs.

Great times. :(

Well done Pompey.

Check out my YouTube channel!
One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

I mean, the commentary team repeated it many times and it was clear to anyone who watched the game that Forest sat back for 85% of it, but the important detail is that you were in 'Temerife' so let's not get caught up.

Trust me I am much more annoyed about my own team right now than any stats or approach Forest might have taken. We didn't deserve anything out of the game at all.

Gotten to

Good to get back to winning ways, but this has caused a complete divide down the Pompey fan-base with regards whether to go to Wembley. Twitter is a sea of abuse  Two of our players' girlfriends were giving it back to fans during the first half tonight who wrote negative tweets about their other halves.

Looks like we are back on one of Johnson’s losing runs then. :fp:

If you can't be gotten to when deservedly losing to your rivals, when can you :P.

It's annoying because now we're still only one win away from the playoffs. I need the dream to be snatched away as soon as possible so I can get over it already until next season!

I’m fully expecting a run of 5-6 losses now so you can have our spot.

Love our announcement this morning of a new stand and improvements to 2 of the 3 existing ones.

The fact we will remain at the City Ground is a real bonus. It’s a stadium and location steeped in history and the new modern stand will increase our capacity by around 8k to 38k, making it the highest capacity stadium in the East Midlands.

Work to start at end of next season

https://www.nottinghamforest.co.uk/thenewcityground

https://twitter.com/nffc/status/1100999 ... 89217?s=21

Nottingham Forest can confirm after extensive negotiations that an agreement with the City Council for an extended lease on The City Ground has been completed.

This extended lease means the club are now able to proceed with plans to redevelop The City Ground and surrounding area. Central to this redevelopment will be the creation of a new, world-class Peter Taylor Stand and improvements to the Trentside area, Brian Clough and Bridgford Stands.

The new Peter Taylor Stand will see the introduction of world-class facilities including a museum, a new club shop, range of hospitality lounge options and restaurants and executive boxes. In addition to this there will be new spacious concourses for general-admission supporters as well as improved facilities for supporters with disabilities and a substantial increase in wheelchair spaces.

The club will now enter a period of consultation and engagement with the relevant supporter groups before making the necessary planning application.

Subject to the relevant consents the club are hopeful that building work will commence at the end of the 2019-20 season. The new, modern, state-of-the-art structure will see The City Ground's capacity become the highest in the East Midlands, reaching 38,000 after completion.

Not since 1994 has The City Ground undergone any major development work. Even the previous redevelopment projects are dwarfed by the scale of the investment proposed in the new plans. The proposals illustrate the long-term strategy and commitment of the owner, Mr Evangelos Marinakis, to fully rebuild the football club.

Working with globally recognised architects Benoy, the project is ‘born in Nottingham, designed in Nottingham, built in Nottingham, from and for the people of Nottingham'.

And people say Villa are a one man team.....

I called off his players' names as they came marching up the steps behind him....All nice guys. They'll finish last. Nice guys. Finish last.

Our game was delayed in the second half today by a drone :fp: 5-1 win though, so no complaints. Bradford are terrible.

Not a bad day for us. We always lose at Preston so a point is decent and Villa did us a big favour.

Happy with another 3 points and another clean sheet. Puts us only 2 points behind Barnsley with a game in hand.
