It's nice that he can at least react to things going on on the pitch. I don't think we were amazing first half last night but the changes had such an impact and we ended up deserved winners. Under Hughton we lose that game 1-0.

Delighted for you red dogs, honest... :slol: time to make a charge for the playoffs?

I can't believe how well we're playing. We could have won 3-0 last night and it would have been fully deserved.

Can see the EFL waiting until we get to 9 points before slapping the next deduction on so we go back to 0, just to rub it in  :x.

What is happening here? I’m living in an alternative universe! Must be catching as I said words to my wife last to the effect of “you have to applaud Rooney and his players for how they’re playing and coping with everything so well”.

Anyone have anything on why Mike Flynn has left Newport? They don't look to be doing fantastic this season but he's done well there hasn't he?

Any thoughts on tomorrow's game? If we can take 3 points off you, we could be halfway out of the relegation zone :slol:. We're playing well but we simply don't have a goalscorer in the ranks — I think every single goal so far this season has been scored by a different player.

We need some sort of miracle quickly so we can both be half decent teams again and go back to the borderline abusive rivalry :slol:. I remember a few seasons ago we were talking up the realistic prospect of meeting in the playoff final. How distant a dream that seems now.

I'm concerned by your good form that's for sure! We actually played quite well against Fulham, but Mitrovic is a cut above and essentially mugged us off. One goal was a gift from us and one was offside. But currently our squad is a fair few square plugs in round holes and I don't know if Martin knows our best 11 yet. Our back 3 against Fulham consisted of 1 CB and 2 FB for example (both FBs pretty short as well).

We've given too many teams easy goals so far this season, often brought on by a high press. But when we play well it does cause teams a lot of trouble and Piroe seems to be a good finisher which is great after both Ayew and Lowe left in the summer.

Basically I have no idea

When was the last time a team followed up a 5-0 win with a 5-0 defeat? Asking for a friend :shifty:

How in God's name are we 3-0 down at half time against strawberry floating Portsmouth?

The ball went into your goal three times.

Don't think we deserved anything at all there. Swansea absolutely hammered us in the first half and the second wasn't exactly great.

Will gladly take the point, of course!

Another very good result for Forest. The worst start to a season for 108 years seems a long time ago now!

Yeah, there were 21 players in the Derby half for the majority of the final 30 mins. But we didn't create much despite that. Lots of nice passing but not enough clear cut chances. Your keeper was superb though, basically a sweeper hoovering everything up.

Also, I watched it on RamsTV and I have to say, having two commentators on an ifollow stream who despite being home fans were very reasonable in their commentary with very little bias was a breath of fresh air to what you usually get

It’s worrying how often we seem to have a good performance, take the lead and then proceed to bottle it and lose 2-1 :fp:

Swansea playing a back three made up of one CB and two full backs... I feel like this may be a mistake against Mick McCarthy/Kieffer Moore.

Meanwhile Cardiff are playing five centre backs :slol:

3 mins in and ref has already bottled a blatant penalty :fp:

Don’t usually enjoy any part of those games, but the last 15 minutes felt unreal. A lot of people have been moaning about out how much we seem to focus on keeping possession instead of relentlessly pushing forward but there’s been a lot of promise in the games so far, even if results have not been the best. Couldn’t have picked a better game for it to really start coming together!
