Maybe not
4 consecutive 1-1 draws in this fixture sees us retain the BC trophy. My thoughts on the game:
- Bong is truly awful
- Bong assist though
- Forsyth should have seen red for the deliberate stamp on Zink’s nuts. Am sure the EFL will serve him a 3 match suspension as they did for Bong for his unseen elbow vs Coventry.
- Lawrence took his goal well but wouldn’t have happened if Forsyth wasn’t on the pitch for the assist. Or if Samba covered his near post.
- Worrall handball was lucky not to have been given as a pen
- much better 2nd half from us. CH changed to 2 up top
- Brennan’s first NFFC goal  Roos at fault too
- stats almost identical for %, shots, passes, etc so a draw is fair result.

The Brian Clough Trophy is still ours :toot:

Sunderland trying to do to Wycombe what Man City just did to Arsenal. Except Wycombe aren't gooseberry fool.

Still in Derby and very drunk so pinch of salt required but I think we should have won. Could have been 3-0 up at half time but second half a different story, although not as strongly in Forest's favour as ours in the first half.

Had no idea about the potential red card at the time. Penalty seemed stonewall, how it wasn't given I don't know.

Good atmosphere and great to be back. Will try and get tickets to the away game but not holding out much hope.

Excellent come back from 2-0 to get the draw. Nice to have the injury time goal go our way.

Another point today from a draw, didn’t listen or follow it much as I was much more interested in the F1 so no idea how well/poor we played today. Glad it’s the international break, hopefully this can act as a bit of a reset for us and we can start stronger as I doubt many of our players will be called up for any matches so we’ll have plenty of time to rest and get back to training. Thankfully we’re continuing with our 3-5-2 formation by the looks of it, we certainly play better this way with our current squad.

It’s a little worrying though, Jokanović keeps saying he wants a few players in before the transfer window shuts but we’re now down to the last couple of days of this window and no sign of anyone else being brought in.

I'm not very happy with Wimbledon at this point. Really think we should have picked up a few more points way too many draws.

Hasn't played regular football for best part of two seasons, what did they pay for him?

IMO he'll be a drain on your squad - he had a very good season for us but got too big for his boots, Porto had a wee look at him and he was never the same again after that. Clear talent, but he needs to get his head in the game if he wants a successful career.

He was a free, that's how they were able to sign him today.

Well, all he'll have to do is demonstrate some talent for a bit and we'll ship him out first offer we get no doubt :|

Ach that's a pain, he was touted as about £10m at one point.

Sounds like our points deduction has been agreed as 9 with another 3 suspended, presumably in the event we don't meet future requirements.

I was expecting 12 straight up so I guess it's a tiny bit better than that. Still dooms us, of course. As the season wears on and the squad is exposed we'd have sunk to the bottom anyway, even with no deduction.

Does this mean we aren't bottom any more? :toot:

Looks like we’ve saved up 2 years of our goals for today’s match  Can’t remember the last time we’ve actually scored 6 goals in a single game (wouldn’t be surprised if we hadn’t for a very long time!), listened to the match and we sounded really good.

I'm pretty thrilled by how the season has started for us, I predict we will dropp of but I would love to see us maintain a sustained run at those playoffs.

I'm chuffed with the start of the season so far. However, we have a habit of falling apart around Christmas when we have a good start to the season.

Pissing away a two-goal home lead against Luton in the 98th minute of a match is probably peak Blackburn. It doesn't get any more Blackburn than that. Blackburned it.

Last year, Forest had their worst start to a season for 66 years.

This year, Forest have had their worst start to a season for 108 years.

:slol:

Relegation is going to be a lot easier to swallow if they end up coming down with us!

A point from six games is absolutely heinous. What the hell is happening at the City ground?
