Tasty fixture. Derby really have to win to keep pressure on the playoffs, we only have to not lose really to maintain our cushion over 7th.

Reckon there’ll be a few goals. 2-1 Forest is my prediction

Exactly, and the last 3 performances haven't been what I'd call inspiring. We'd do well to come away with a point and maintain the gap from 7th imo

Things sound pretty bad up there.

Sad to see this happening to Wigan (otherwise known as Portsmouth FC 2016-18). Hoping they manage to stay up and get through this.

The staggering of refunds is happening with other large companies too I’m not sure it’s that unusual it just prevents all your cash going straight out straight away as annoying as it is. If they hadn’t strawberry floated up the refund policy or tried charging people £30 for a stream more people would have kept their tickets with them.

Reid going to me was the right decision. His records terrible in my eyes.

There last Company House filling was from 2018 and they appeared to have lost 26 million.

Wasn’t £20 million of that the write off of money owed to the club by Donald & Co for purchasing?

No that's something else.

Agree. But I’m not praying for a draw. Always pray for a win, but would take a draw in the end.

Top 2 is out of reach now after WBAs win tonight. We just need to keep our form and morale and we’ll be tough to beat in the Playoffs (famous last words)

Edit: to Minty

Good chance to get the momentum going for playing better teams next season :datass:.

We have been a bit lucky these last couple of games. We seem to give an excellent account of ourselves in the first half, then cling on to a one goal advantage all the way through the second, getting largely outplayed.

If we lose to Forest and Cardiff win, it will suddenly look quite out of reach.

'strawberry float the kitchen'.

Might be time to pull the Warnock docco out of the archives for the fifteenth time. Yep...

And the Warnock/Pep Gladiator comparison. Yep.

Perfect.

Lots of bad, bad gooseberry fool coming out about Wigan’s owners. If any of it’s true there should be a massive reckoning against the EFL for allowing it to happen.

What I heard on TFS was that Whelan sold Wigan to a Hong Kong based businessman who owns casinos, who then sold it on mere weeks later to another group, who have taken a loan with eye-watering interest rates attached to it out against the club.

Rick Parry, the EFL chairman, was secretly filmed discussing speculation that Wigan Athletic's administration is linked to "a bet in the Philippines on them being relegated".

Replies to this sum up the first XI selection. First choice LB and club captain both left on the bench :shifty:

To be fair, this isn't just because we're on TV. We genuinely have stunning pitches week in, week out.

The first leg being a draw was very, very predictable. Very nervous for Monday.

Do away goals count in the EFL play-offs?

I assume Forest have been burned on that before then. :dread:
