Derby County Official Statement wrote:Derby County Football Club today announced that the Club, the ultimate holding company of the group, and all of the subsidiary companies have filed notices of intention to appoint administrators

Mel really has strawberry floated fans over if what I'm reading about season ticket holders deadline just passing so he's got their money in through the door first.

Shitty situation OB. Hope your Club survives. Rivalry is important. No Club deserves this

Expected but still painful.

As I've already said a few times, thank strawberry float we're going down to League One and not League Two.

Biggest issue now is of course the prospect of folding altogether. I'll try to remain hopeful that a takeover agreement is reached somehow.

it's a shitshow for sure. I cant see you folding if I'm honest.

I do feel sorry for the suppliers who are going to be left empty handed as creditors or might only get pennies back on the pound. Those firms could go bust due to this. Same as happened with Leicester years ago IIRC.

Sky Sports just shown a projected table with Derby on -14! gooseberry fool's getting real

Crap for Derby, hopefully someone takes over and you can rebuild from next year.

Sheffield United are looking good today, Brewster is having a really good game in the midfield replacing Berge last minute. Egan having a cracking game too! Gibbs-White on loan from Wolves is looking really good as well. Both teams are looking dirty in the box though.

Wasn't Brewster supposed to score a bagful of goals up top as opposed to slotting into the midfield?

Definitely was, he’s still only scored the once for us and that was in the cup :dread: Liverpool must be constantly loving the fact they did a stellar bit of business and got that sum for him. Still, he looked decent all game today, just not £23 million good

Top half now, if only temporarily :datass:

Was really highly thought off at the club. Was decent at Swansea on loan the season before too. But yeah, £20+ Million plus sell on fee is an outrageous bit of business.

I really hope he still comes good, thankfully age is still very much on his side and his lack of success at Sheffield United could be a blessing in disguise almost as I dare say we have quite a hefty sell on fee/release clause that no ones going to want to take us up on when he starts to score for us, unless he starts banging 3 in each game he plays which looks unlikely!
