They should just give the Derby job to Sol Campbell. How can they continue to ignore "one of the greatest minds in world football". I guess they're "afraid" like all the other clubs who've passed on the opportunity.

Do it Derby. :capnscotty:

There is definitely another Derby fan on here now... I think his name is Richard_UK.

Also I approve of the new thread owner and I like the idea of regular news updates in the title.

Need to add Norwich up there. :shifty:

Definitely our year to get back to the big time.

That doesn't make for pleasant reading :dread:

I suspect Terry going is the first in a long list of departures this summer. Hopefully we at least give the youth prospects a proper go at it next season.

Terry going will make Villa infinitely more likeable.

It’s a good job that Gerrard went to Scotland because there is no way that the Championship could work with Lampard and Gerrard in the middle of the table.

Blimey. A 3 yr deal for a first time manager? And with little imvestment too according to Derby Telegraph
Mel Morris on 28 March wrote:"We’ve been working hard over the past couple months on a three-year forecast for the club, taking all those different models into consideration," said Morris.

"But it’s fair to say that if we don’t pull it off this year, we will not be making significant investment in the summer to try and have another season like this one, if we don’t pull it off.

That's a tough ask. I like(d) Lamps. That will change from now on.

In other news, I'm pleased to see us finally confirm Michael Dawson is returning home. His experience and leadership qualities on and off the pitch should be a big help with the younger lads (Worrall, Tobias).

Rumours surfaced we're 2nd favourites with Leeds behind Rangers to sign Jermain Defoe  If that comes off I'll be amazed. Ecstatic even. Proven goalscorer. But his wages will be huge which may not be in our best interests.
Exciting few weeks ahead :toot:

Can I be added to the Swansea Firm please

Actually quite excited about the Championship next season, even if we are yet to actually get a manger in (I assume Potter will join soon...) and the clear out that will strip our squad of any real quality hasn't begun.

Also moving to a new flat that is walking distance to Millwall, so at least that will be an easy away day.... :dread:
