You wouldn’t see many games involving the teams supported by a lot of members in this thread then...

You must have been sick with Saturdays result too, especially bearing in mind how Bolton eased past Rovers just on Tuesday.
Rovers really need Clark-Harris back, such a one man team, and he will no doubt be sold in Jan :(
Yeah I hate football too

Keogh's been sacked by Derby following his disciplinary hearing within the club.

Harsh but he shouldn’t have gotten into a drunk drivers car.

They offered him a significantly reduced contract as a way of staying at the club which he refused so they sacked him. Derby didn't want to pay him the full £1.3m left on his contract which is completely fair really when he's going to be out for over a year. He was lucky to be offered any deal by the club really.

Sack the fella injured but keep on the bloke who got tanked up and crashed his car causing the injury. I've no love for Keogh but strawberry floating hell that seems harsh. If it came to court then you'd have to think that Derby don't have a leg to stand on but then I guess neither does Keogh. ;)

Very unfair to sack him and keep the 2 drunk drivers who crashed and fled the scene afterwards...

They should all be sacked, I agree.

The difference is he’s injured and I’m sure any insurance they’d have is refusing to cover his wages because of the nature of the situation. Obviously sacking him for financial not moral reasons.

I imagine not sacking the other 2 could be a problem for them when this is taken to tribunal. I suppose they’ll argue he’s captain so more responsibility but still.

The PFA will back Keogh on this, I think he’ll win if it goes to court.

What. A. Day.

Lunchtime kick off.
Biggest rivals.
Full house.
Whole family there to witness it.
Win 1-0.
28k home fans singing “he should be in jail” to Tom Lawrence all game
Boys got to meet 15 players and the manager and get tons of autographs and photos.
Wished the manager a Happy Birthday when he was signing and posing for the boys.

All wonderful stuff...... but,

Telling the manager, to his face, that my wife thinks he's "delicious" as she's behind me, and watching her face go redder than a NFFC shirt as everyone in the queue turned and laughed with me...... Priceless!!!

Best. Day. Ever.

Warnock has left Cardiff by mutual consent!

That’s probably his last job then unless someone needs a rescue job in a few months. He had said this would be his last ever season previously.

Always a wanker though. Was looking forward to singing that to him in a couple of weeks when they came to our place.

It's a proud moment when my team causes Warnock to lose his job. :toot:

I will say this for him, he likes a laugh at his own expense.

This has always made me laugh...

'I don't want silence. I want them all to be chanting "Warnock's a w*****" over and over again. For a whole minute. That would be my ideal. They'll all smile because they'd all know that would mean a lot to me

I'm sure every football fan would happily oblige him

One of my favourite football memories is playing Palace in the play off semi-final and the whole of Ashton Gate singing “Johnson says Warnock is a banana split”.

How in the name of strawberry float do we lose 3-0 against a strawberry floating League 2 side? What the strawberry float is going on at Sunderland?

This is where I'd normally have a good laugh and make a comment about season three on Netflix, but I'm too miserable at football to even bother any more :fp:

Cracking result there and a decent performance to boot. Somehow we're now on a five game winning streak at home. What is with this team?

Excellent set of results in the league today to boost Wimbledon to 19th and 3 points clear of the drop. Bolton next too :toot:
