Drummy, any idea on if you'll be letting Matt Clarke go permanently?

After a very shakey start, he turned into a bit of a rock and ended up winning player of the season. That's two years in a row a loanee defender has won it :fp:.

 He won PoTS for his final two years at Pompey too. Three in a row. If Brighton do let him go, it's a huge ball-drop on their part. Bloke's a future England international.

I very much doubt it. We've also got Ben White to come back from Leeds too.

From what I can see we will likely be moving to 3CB defence next year so we will need cover.

Before the game I’d have said Brentford, been mainly all Fulham so far though.

That's a pretty ridiculous free kick to win it if it stays like this.

Good, hope that smug banana split in charge of Brentford feels awful tonight

Raya. :fp:

He always had a stupid error in him when he was with us, and nothing's changed since he joined Brentford. I always thought it was down to our goalkeeper coach being bad, but it seems like no one can teach him to stop coming way off his line or flapping at the ball instead of trying to catch it or punch it away.

We also miss out on £2 million due to Brentford not being promoted. :x

I tuned in 5 mins into extra time, and first thing I saw was the Brentford keeper about 20m out of his area heading the ball, looked like a liability. Still feel for the guy for the free kick, got to be gutting to be responsible for losing a game like that.

Salary caps are being brought into League Wun and League To with immediate effect, quite interesting.

Absolutely ridiculous to put a salary cap on half of the four leagues and not the other half.

Do clubs getting relegated from the Championship have to comply with that in their first season? Would make relegation from the Championship more of a disaster than relegation from the Premier League.

If by 'quite interesting' you mean 'strawberry floating devestating and makes supporting my football team pointless' then I suppose it is 'quite interesting'.

National League sides can mow spend more than Sunderland. Let that sink in.

I haven't read any of the details, but initial reaction - we're strawberry floated

What's the penalty for not complying, a points deduction?

Also, surely this is massively unfair on lower league players as it must be cutting their potential income

Massive fines due to the league which exponentially increase if you spend more.

Why have the clubs voted in favour of this?
