I'm not overly optimistic but it's nice to make it again. I wonder if fans will be allowed to go as its after May 17th.

It's not the Premier League so it will probably be either no one or neutral fans from London only and treated as a test event for the Euros.

Any Reading fans on here?

Can’t believe that a team who won 7 of the first 8 games and had a 7 point lead at the top at that stage, have finished outside of the playoffs with 2 games still to play!

That’s quite some drop in form and results

I'm sure there was a stat that up until the end of October they'd conceded the least goals in the the whole of the four football leagues and then for the next 2 months they conceded the most.

We should already be dead and buried in the relegation zone.

Rotherham have been very unlucky over the last few weeks. Even in their last game, the Barnsley goal is given despite the attacker almost knocking the goalie clean out with his elbow before putting the ball away. I think the keeper even had to go off afterwards it was such a bad foul. And Wednesday are only down there because of the points deduction.

strawberry floating send us down! I think it's very likely both teams will overtake us by the end of it all. The fact we're still only 13/8 for the drop despite having a 4 point lead says it all!

I think you'll be fine. Points in the bag are worth more at the moment. Don't get me wrong though, I'll laugh my arse off if you do get relegated.

Rex telling the truth there!

I too (unfortunately) think you’ll survive. Now Swansea have secured playoffs they might not fight as much when they play you. If you equal or better Sheff Weds’ result against us you’ll be fine.

Would be funny to see Roooooooooney in L1 though. If you didn’t sack him that is

Oh don't worry. I've been fuming for most of the past nine years.

I think he'll be gone over the summer either way.

The Swansea manager has apparently pretty much said he'll field a few fringe players against us :fp: if we do somehow stay up it's going to feel shameful and undeserved. To be honest, Swansea's reserves are surely still better than our first team!

For some reason I really dislike Reading, so I'm glad they missed out on the playoffs.

Watford being promoted though :dread:

It'd be good to see Barnsley back in the PL, or Brentford would be an interesting new addition.

They're just boring.

Brentford or Burnley for a change please.

Check out my YouTube channel!

Barnsley have caused a minor upset in the Championship with their style. They play an extremely high press, looking to suffocate opponents and have a very direct approach with the ball. I don't think it would work in the PL against better players but it would be interesting to see at least.

I'm hoping we avoid them in the playoffs because while we beat them twice this season, I think we'd struggle against their current approach.

I think it's partly what Drummy says, just a really boring club, but also everyone I've ever met who's from Reading swears it's the best place in the world and raves about it, despite it - like the club - just being very boring and uninteresting. I think I'm biased against them because of that too.

Out of the 4 in the playoffs I’d have to go for Barnsley or Bournemouth to go up. Maybe Swansea at a push

Can’t stand the Brentford manager at all despite not minding the team. I couldn’t watch MOTD with him on it.

+1

Brentford are a well run club that play good attacking football, but I can't stand their manager so really don't want them to go up (if Swansea don't obviously).
