Honestly he's someone I just can't stand. And therefore Brentford can't get promoted for me even though I've admired their play a lot over the last 2 seasons

To be clear, I am being overly dramatic with that statement and I do
expect Sunderland to make it over the line.

That said, it's not actually done yet and as it stands it's no wins in the last seven. I was hoping they might start another of Lee Johnson's trademark winning steaks before the playoffs but there's very little in our recent performances to suggest that's on the cards.

Bristol City have been shocking this season, I think we need a mass clear out of players and background staff and we need to rebuild. Lots going on, two new managers, lots of injuries, players close to being out of contract and not renewing, Mark Ashton!

Pearson hasn't exactly set the place on fire since he took over. I don't blame him (yet ), he hasn't been able to bring anybody in.

Whether we do well next season will depend on what sort of support he gets. Force him to work with what we currently have and it'll end in tears. Let him build his own squad and hopefully he can turn things around.
