Officially better than Wayne Rooney's Derby County™. 8-)

Well Officially better than Rovers if you want to go down that road

Forest Green Rovers to soon be officially the best Rovers in the West. :datass:

Comfortably the best side by some margin. Too good for the Championship.

The mighty Wimbledon are still going to be in League 1 next year.

Cant believe we could be facing League 1 next year with potentially Derby, Sheffield Wednesday, Bolton, Sunderland, Ipswich and Charlton.

Wecome to the hell of being too good for the Championship, but not good enough for the Premiership. AKA Sunderland in the late 90s.

I would say hopefully it’s a place Sheffield United find themselves in next season, but I’m expecting us to finish mid table as I can see a few of our better players being signed by some of the lower Premiership clubs, hopefully doesn’t happen (plus we get a good replacement in for Wilder) but it wouldn’t surprise me one bit.

Luton have had a great season.
Staying up was the main goal and we've more than managed that and it looks like the new stadium is on track to start construction soon so it's all going well.
I think the club are now a solid Championship side who can maybe scrap for a play-off place next season.

I have to say Luton have surprised me this season. Well done The Hatters.

That said, let's hope they do the right thing and allow a Rotherham win in mid week to give us neutrals a proper 3 way last day fight for 1 survivor between Rotherham, Sheff W and Derby!

I did read somewhere (probably LTLF) that a draw for Rotherham against Luton was a better option because Rotherham winning would have meant Weds were almost certainly down. This way any of the 3 teams can escape relegation. I still think the sensible money is on Derby staying up, Rotherham and Weds have had multiple opportunities in recent weeks to get out of jail and have failed to take them.

I agree. It really is a case of them each falling over themselves to be worse than each other. The amount of chances Rotherham have had to get a point or 3 recently but they messed it up is unbelievable. I’ve heard, but not bothered to check, that Derby have only won 1 of the last 15 games, yet are still the team in pole position to stay up. Unbelievable if true.

Some Daily Mail article today has rattled a few on Twitter, plus excited a few NFFC fans, that the proposed latest DCFC takeover might fall through although this has been denied. Some are saying the prospective new owner has proved he has the funds, but is looking instead to use the stadium as collateral for a loan against it? This is despite DCFC selling the stadium famously to their current owner and somehow circumnavigated the EFL P&S rules in doing so. If the proposed financing of the takeover uses the stadium, surely the EFL will want to take another look at that? Further sanctions may happen as a result? Some DCFC fans are genuinely worried for the future of their club financially whatever happens Saturday.

SWFC must be so pissed they have a 6pt deduction in similar (?) circumstances which is likely to send them down.

For the record, I think Derby will survive and stay up. If they do go down, I will enjoy it of course, but I wouldn’t want them to fold. Just have a few seasons in L1 with Sunderland, Ipswich, Charlton, Rotherham, Sheff W, and Yeovil.

You lads are amateurs. Record most relegations from the Premier League

Edit: Looks like West Brom will be equalling it, never mind we can win it back next season.

From what I can gather, even if we don't get relegated we're still probably going to fold. At best we'll be docked points and hit with a transfer ban, so we'll just go down next year and fold then instead.

I think I'd rather just get it over and done with now than drag it out another year. I think that will happen anyway as we're on a worse run of form than both Rotherham and Wednesday. Wednesday will probably beat us comfortably.

I think Mad Mel gambled on Fat Frank getting them up and then did the stadium sale and the Red32 Rooney deal as a last ditch attempt to keep as much money in the coffers as possible? I’m not 100% on it though.

Having had our own gooseberry fool owner in Fawaz who couldn’t control the books I know what it’s like. However I don’t want Derby to fold. Get relegated, yeah. Fold, no. I’d miss the rivalry
