That was our heaviest home defeat in our entire 146 year history. :fp:

All optimism has been completely dissolved after the last two results.

Only hope is the takeover concludes somehow in time to rid us of the transfer restrictions by January. Very little chance of that.

Going to enjoy it while it lasts though, we're playing bloody lovely football :toot:

We have Fulham on Saturday. Mitrovic has scored more than our whole team.

He's scored more than 11 teams in the Championship by my count.

Good luck :slol:

We've got Bournemouth, they finally lost last night.

I’m not looking forward to when we play Fulham in December either, they and West Brom have adapted much better to life back in the Championship than we have, we looked poor in the hour I watched against Forest the other night.

I do fear for us this season, we just don't look good at the moment, very lackluster playing long balls all the time excluding midfield and not getting enough shoots per game. I can see a relegation battle.

Derby have been docked points and Reading are about to be.

And I still think we'll finish below both of them.

Our £23 million striker has just scored his first league goal for us! Only took him just over a year to get it

We are awful :fp: Blackburn get battered by Fulham and we (amazingly) get an early goal, do we press on for another? Nope we sit back and let them have the upper hand for the rest of the match. The one positive from today’s match so far is Brewster getting a goal finally.

Good 3-0 win today against PNE. Very pleasing considering they were the first team to beat Bournemouth in midweek.

Funny old game

That's just the original deduction we were expecting several months ago.

Slim chance the administration one for 12 points will be cut in half, but even so we're simply not picking up the points needed anyway.

Hopefully this is the end of the deductions/embargoes, a takeover actually happens and we can rest assured of our continued existence, with a fighting chance in League One.

Its absolutely crazy to me the Super League clubs got off scot free in the context of this.

Aw man, back into negative points :slol:.

This might spare some blushes as the way our form has been going recently and the state of our tiny, old squad I'm not confident we would avoid relegation even without a points deduction at all. At least this seems promising in putting everything behind us so we can start next season without worrying about it all.

I won't blame the club at all if they focus all planning on preparing for League One next season, acting as such in the January window (if restrictions are lifted). Surely they must have been doing that for a long time by now anyway.

I’m not that well versed on these things, but if the Administrators sell the club before Jan, are you out of embargo and can pay whatever transfer fees and wages that you want (staying within limits this time of course! ;) ). If so, does that mean that your young stars won’t be sold off for peanuts?

However, if you’re not sold by Jan, is it a fire sale of the family silver at rock bottom prices?

I don't know for sure but I think you're right. Let's be realistic, the chances of it all being resolved by then are looking remote.

I keep reading that the sale is seemingly close, then not, then it is. Some Americans pulled out recently (last week I think) which some took to mean a sale was close to being announced?

I dunno. It sucks to be a Ram I guess now.

Has Mel disappeared? Can’t imagine he’d be welcome around the local area these days

I'm probably just being pessimistic based on how the attempted sales have gone so far. I guess when it's done it'll be announced all of a sudden out of nowhere.

As long as we don't fold altogether, we can just stay optimistic and look to the likes of Wolves, Leeds etc for inspiration in terms of League One success stories. Clearly it'll be a miserable life in League One but if we do actually end up getting promoted eventually it'll be the best season we've had for probably two decades by then! :fp:
