The GR championship teams are all one after the other in the league right now. Boro, Derby, BCFC, Blackburn, Villa and Forest. It’s very competitive in here.

I don’t think we’ll make the playoffs, but I worry that if we did go up we would get slaughtered every week.

But it’s been a very long time since Bristol City were in the top division, so I will snatch it with both hands if it comes.

I only noticed this when reading another forum, but has anybody noticed how the leaders of all of the divisions begin with “L”?

Yes I think you're probably right. Still, plenty of time left for them to have a wobble. I thought Pompey were going to steamroller the division not long ago.

One of our big problems seems to be that we can't find a second goal to kill teams off. Drawn far too many lately, and when we have won it's usually a narrow, nervy, one goal in it kind of game. I hope Will Grigg hits the ground running otherwise I think it's the playoffs.

Luton have a tendency to run out of steam at the end. We did last season right after the BBC did a piece on us about the fact we'd scored more goals than Man City (we'd had a couple of 7-0 and a 6-0) and then we decided we'd done enough for the season.
We still finished second but if we'd carried on the form from that point we'd have had a pretty legendary season.
