Yeah that was a brilliant performance, bit worrying as I might be going to the Liberty later in the year for the Blackburn match

We were brilliant today. Birmingham really couldn’t get much of a look in. Scored some great goals too.

Leeds away next. Now that’s going to be our very real test, and a chance to see where we actually are as a team.

Yeah - really looks bad there now. That's gone downhill quickly over the weekend. Bury deadline is this week too. I guess we'll know the final outcomes by next weekend.

It's horrible to see some of the personal stories on Twitter. The Bury fan who's brothers ashes were spread in the goalmouth at their home stadium so he can visit him at every home game, the Bolton Wanderers fan with a memorial brick to his brother as part of a statue outside the stadium. It's horrendous.

Sounds like that’s them completely screwed  absolutely heartbreaking. Can’t imagine what the fans are going through, I remember when Pompey almost went bust and how awful that was. strawberry float all of these horrendous owners.

gooseberry fool.

I think we’ve all got to a stage where football clubs are saved at the last minute and so we don’t believe it would actually happen. A real wake up call is coming. :dread:

Looks like Cocu has called your bluff on that one :fp: he's put out an entirely different team!

What strength are your lot at?

It's been almost four hours since the deadline. How have we heard nothing from the EFL?

8 changes, but still a 1st team squad for sure.

I imagine Bury has no playing squad, and are going to end up in League 2 anyway? Why doesn't the EFL suspend them for this season and let them start in League 2 next season if they can complete a takeover by Christmas?

I also think they should be able to 'give' the history to another company. Sure if you're kicked out of the EFL you're starting in Step 9/10 but if you have the rights to the history at least you'll soften the blow.

Bury are gone. Bolton have 14 days but from what the administrator said earlier, it doesn't sound great. Absolutely strawberry floating awful.

And yet you have players who are surplus to requirements (robbing a living) on £400,000 a week only two divisions above. There's something fundamentally wrong with the structure of football in this country.

Awful news, hopefully the town can bounce back with either a resuscitated Bury or a phoenix club, but what an awful few years those fans have ahead of them.

I didn't think it would actually come to this, I don't understand how it has come to this. Dreadful news!
