Too obvious

You heard we might be getting Fulham’s Alfie Manson on loan

It’s not the players I’m worried about this season it’s Ashton. I don’t think our club and media team have been any good to our fans in recent weeks.

That said I do like our new home kit

Hard to know how to give a reference for Chris Martin. He spends most of the time moaning, goes over at the slightest contact and comes across as a lazy player.

However, he was absolutely brilliant for us at times. For long periods, whenever he played you could rest easy in the knowledge that he would play a key role in a goal or two every single game, often being the scorer himself. He is very good at holding up the ball and laying it off into the path of an advancing player.

You'd think he's past his best due to his age, but the type of player he is, he can probably keep going for a while yet.

I see not only have Sky Sports kept Paul Merson over Phil and Charlie, but they also haven't got rid of Darren Bent  :fp:.

I've no idea how Merson escaped the cull to be honest.

strawberry floating hell. What an atrocious game and still a thorough embarrassment despite sneaking through in the penalty shootout.

To be fair, the misspelling is intentional, he's comparing knock-off underpants to Bury AFC.

Not sure about the rest of it though. :slol:

Dons score after 22 seconds. Amazing start. Now 2-1 within 25 mins. I missed this but my nerves can't take it.

Lucky you! Pompey fans had our stream for 45 seconds on iFollow with broken commentary, before the stream cut to the Stadium of Light just in time to watch Bristol Rovers score, and then the following ten minutes of that game :fp:. Absolute gooseberry fool show. We're still 0-0, btw, and looking pretty average.

One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

I’d have taken a draw in the first game away at a relegated club any day. Hope we can hold out for ten minutes.

It’s good that Blackburn have a bit of drama about them this weekend, as Celtic raced to a 5-0 lead and had their game won after twenty minutes

EDIT: Even Duffy’s banged one in at the right end. :simper:

Unusual score at Ashton Gate at the moment.

What the strawberry float are Sunderland playing at?
