Not watched any of it so am just happy with 3 points.

Need a last minute Sunderland winner to make it a perfect weekend.

Good grief. We are playing the most turgid football at the moment.

Very quickly losing faith in 'Cocu Ball', which appears to be passing it around the back until you get tackled, then desperately defending in a panic, before conceding from a set piece.

QPR last minute goal the only silver lining, to put Forest below us by virtue of alphabetical order.

Love an alphabetical order placing, as a supporter of teams beginning with B and C.

Stats were in Portsmouth's favour, guessing they didn't play up?

Indeed. You're going to absolutely spank us on Sky in a few days. Something to look forward to all round.

Any Macclesfield Town fans on the forum? Looks like they're going under :(

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/54177582
Macclesfield Town Football Club has been wound up in the High Court over debts totalling more than £500,000.

Judge Sebastian Prentis made a winding-up order during a hearing in the Insolvency and Companies Court after being told £190,000 was owed in tax.

In addition, a solicitor for former manager John Askey was told he was owed £173,000 and a financial lender was also owed the same sum.

The club's owner Amar Alkadhi had asked for a further eight-week adjournment.

Aaronayl is, I think, from Macclesfield originally though I don't gather he's much of a football fan. Shame about that, always sorry to see clubs going under.

Half a million is basically nothing in top flight football - it's ridiculous that the very richest clubs in the Premier League aren't doing more to support teams further down the pyramid.

I guess if you look at it without any romance - this is a business that is not able to remain solvent, for whatever reason, thus it should be allowed to fail. If big clubs make a habit of bailing out smaller clubs, it could create a moral hazard whereby the smaller clubs don't have to run themselves well because "hey, some Premier League club will generate some good PR and lend us the money we need to carry on".

It's definitely a difficult situation that's clouded by the idea that football clubs are more than just businesses - to some they are, to others they aren't. Don't know how we're meant to square that circle.

A lot more money should be spread around the lower leagues, but Bury, Wigan and Macclesfield have died or are dying because the EFL have let fraudulent owners take over. Extra cash from the Premier League would just be pushing the problem down the road. The real issue is higher up.

North West Counties is going to be half phoenix clubs at this rate.
