We're just showing Forest we're even better than them at being massively gooseberry fool :datass:.

Scott McKenna joined from Aberdeen for £3m rising to £5/6m. That follows Harry Arter joining on a perm from Bournemouth late yesterday.

Our strategy seems to be accumulate, accumulate! Apart from the £14-16m sale of Matty Cash ( :x  ) to scummy Villa, and undisclosed (small?) value sale of Tyler Walker to Coventry,we’ve not sold anyone else (yet) to balance the books and FFP.

Incomings so far for Forest are:
GK - Abdoulaye Diablo (Senegal international apparently). Free as unattached
RB - Cyrus Christie. Season loan from Fulham
LB - Tyler Blackett. Free transfer after he left Reading
CB - Loic Mbe Soh. £5m from PSG
CB - Scott McKenna. £3m-£6m from Aberdeen
DM - Faoud Bachirou. £600k from Malmo
DM - Jack Colback. Free transfer after he left Newcastle
CM - Harry Arter. Undisclosed from Bournemouth
AM - Luke Freeman. Season loan from Sheff Utd.
CF - Miguel Angel Guerrero. Free transfer from Olympiakos
CF - Lyle Taylor. Free transfer after leaving Charlton

A complete new side! After 2 defeats in the league (3 if you include the Carabao cup before season started), no goals scored and now having spent a chunk of Cash’s cash, the pressure is really on Sabri to get a team settled and winning

Scott McKenna is a bomb scare, good luck with that one

Wimbledon first win of the season. Joint best start to the season.

Wimbledon need to be higher but otherwise I don't see any problems.

FFS

I simply have to try and be positive. There's no other choice at this stage of the season. Once Ibe is ready to start, a few of the key injuries are back and assuming this mystery striker comes in, surely we have to be at least a little bit better!

...right?

Wednesday looking sharp at the moment, think we might be heading for our first defeat unless we can sort ourselves out.

How about Bristol, Swansea and Blackburn coming up this season?

Any idea what he's like?

We desperately needed a striker.

He's been playing in the EFL fixtures this season - my observations are that he's tall, strong, has decent touch for a big lad. Decent dribbler and no slowcoach either. Here's a goal he scored in the EFL:

He isn't Erling Haaland or anything but if he gets game time I reckon he'll be very good in the Championship.

Sounds a good fit for us. We could do with a focal point who the ball will stick to that can bring in the likes of Ayew and Lowe as we attack.
