So...what do we think, any good? It does have a mild hint of GamesRadar about it.

Your right about the GR comparison.

Here's an idea CVG, could you make it more of a mess so that I literally have no idea what i'm doing on your website

Seems like someone bleached the CVG look out of it, it's a bit more generic looking now.

Was it always part of the "GamesRadar Network" or is that new?

It's ok. Slightly bloated but what video game portal isn't nowadays?

Looks alright, a lot less cluttered now, but i don't like how it looks nice at the top, then scrolling down it just looks blocky and boring.

Not much personality, no, but a lot of adverts. A lot like Kris Marshall!

I think it looks okay. It's a bit odd that, on the news page, there's a 'news' bit at the top and then 'more news' at the bottom.

Er.

It's been like that since pcgamer forum was moved over. they did a number of the games forums on the same day.

Why is everything in the PCZone, Xbox World, OXM & PC Gamer site crammed to the left? Awful awful design. :fp:

CVG is godawful. Used to be a regular on PCGF until they moved it there. It still looks rubbish.

It's always been pretty gooseberry fool. Most of the content is just rehashed from the PCG I'll receive after it's already up on the website.

That's new. It used to be "CVG Network".

I've been a moderator over there for a few years now, they didn't let us know or notify anyone on the forum until after it happened. The forum needs updated and re-shuffling too, it's in a bit of a state at the moment.

As for the design - it's too white, too boring.

I do love the CVG forum for just how incredibly easy it is to wind people up over there. I've never met a forum so humourless. It's ...fantastic.

KKlein. Never saw this thread so made a duplicate. Oops.

Anyways. I actually visit C&VG everyday along with Spong. Both give me a British fix of gaming news.
It looks tidier similar in style to the new Gamesradar.com
More adverts on the page. But as long as they dont do a Gamesradar editorially and go 100% American-centric then thats okay.

Have you seen the state of their forums? They're crammed into such a narrow space surrounded by huge borders. What a horrible mess, worse than what GR got turned into.
