Lunar Knights is pretty good if you can pick it up cheap. I find myself coming back to it quite often (still have to comlete that bloody epilogue).

That's one I've always been curious about. I don't know how I'd feel about the isometric view but I think I could have a lot of fun with a game like that :)

I'd recommend it, if possible though don't pay more than £15 for it, I got mine for that and it was about a year ago. The combat can be a little fidgety at times but it's nothing game-breaking, but the graphics, levelling and soundtrack definitely make it worth a pop.

And Kirby Power Paintbrush is brill also.

The other games you mentioned (other than Viva) were out months ago too.

As long as its a great game, I don't think it matters that its available on other machines, just because the vast majority of the best DS games are exclusive, doesn't mean you should ignore such a great game just because it happens that you can also get (an inferior version of) it on PSP.

SIE is in my opinion one of the top 5 DS games available, its certainly good enough to recommend to anyone who wants a new DS game.

Soul Bubbles wasn't that long ago, and TWEWY gets mentioned every possible chance I get.

But yes, SIE is great, and I apologise for not mentioning it earlier.

The last DS game I bought was Apollo Justice, and that was back in February, or whenever its US launch was.

There are four DS games I am meaning to buy: Ouendan 2, Trauma Centre 2, Professor Layton and Taiko no Tatsujin. That isn't much, but it's better than there being nothing that interests me.

Glory Days 2 is great for fans of Choplifter. And has the best music on the DS:

Soul Bubbles was out on the 13th of June.

Week before New International Track and Field actually, which also deserves a mention.

I'm ripping through PW again. Finished 1 last night, I'll start 2 a bit later.

Also, I've got FFTA2 and FFIV on the go.

The World Ends with You is definitely worth a purchase if you haven't got it already (it's £15 on play, so there's no excuse not to) One of the best DS games available, and a stunning game.

Phoenix Wright 3 is out here soon (or it might be out already, I'm not sure), and Apollo Justice is available now. They're both definitely worth getting. If you've never played a PW game though, track down the original first, as the whole series is great.

I'd also recommend importing Professor Layton and the Ouendan games in particular if you haven't already (but :fp: if you haven't played Ouendan/EBA before)

Trauma Centre 2 is also great, especially if you've played the first. Hugely enjoyable, though possibly a little too similar to New Blood on the wii. Ninja Gaiden is a short but sweet addition to the DS library.

There are many gems that I haven't got around to buying yet, either, such as Viva Pinata, Space Invaders Extreme, BangaiO, Soul Bubbles Final Fantasy 4 and Final Fantasy Tictacs.

Fire Emblem DS will be out before too long too, with online too, so that will be a great addition to everyone's DS collection. There's Chrono Trigger and Castlevania in the future, too.
After reading ign's review, I'm now looking forward to Lock's Quest, too

There is a lot of shovelware for the DS, but there are a lot of great games too which tend to get overlooked by some people. Admittedly, there is a better selection of games at the moment if you import, though.

I'm bound to have missed off a lot of stuff, too.

Still haven't received Final Fantasy IV from Asda.

It says 'Usually dispatched within 1 to 2 months' on Amazon.

What's going on? It's very unlike Square-Enix to under-ship a DS game. Maybe they have learned their lesson as they're still trying to shift all those copies of FFIII, FFXII: RW and DQM.

For me, the DS is seriously fading. Up until last year, it was probably my most played console, but the last game I play on it properly was Pokemon Pearl.

I bought the latest Advance Wars but seriously couldn't be arsed with it. I think I've lost all faith in Nintendo these days.

It's probably just outsold the initial shipment. Square Enix do tend to keep their games in print for ages nowadays so it shouldn't be too hard to get, although I did read somewhere that the sales in Japan were lower than expected so maybe they're not producing many.

I can't say there is anything on the horizon for the DS that I am excited about, aside from maybe the Edgeworth game.

I'm sure HoC will publicise something at some point that will catch my interest. Most of my DS library is stuff that I have seen him write about!

I can't say I've been playing much on my DS lately, not that that concerns me in any way as I still (and probably always will) regard it as my second favourite games machine this gen. Although that's not entirely true as I was thoroughly enjoying Final fantasy Tactics A2, but that seems to have been set aside for some reason. Most of the games I have for it already, particulary the point and clicks, are a delight to play again, infact I'm in the mood to play even the least replay friendly of the lot, Hotel dusk. Looking forward to the Edgeworth prosecutor game (is there a date for this?) and Chrono Trigger, as I never got to play the original.
