Whilst it's no longer on TV, the gambling advert with Ryan Giggs' brother was excellent.

Still not comfortable with the normalisation of gambling that's occured in the last 15 years or so. Gambling should be legal but treated similarly to cigarettes.

Agreed, Grumpster.

The only ads I actually like are podcast ads, because generally if I'm listening to, for example, a true crime podcast, the advert will be referencing another true crime series. Stuff I might actually be interested in, as opposed to Cretins in the Jungle.

But I stream/download/record/series link almost everything and watch it in my own time.

Paddy Power adverts generally are first class. There was one on last night with the sacked Sky soccer pundits on that made me laugh out loud.

There was an old Irn-Bru campaign about a gender-flipped couple. The girl drank it and was inhumanly strong, for example pulling an entire scrummage behind her during a game of rugby. This ran in maybe 1993?

I only mention this because my wife is inhumanly strong also and I always joke she fell into a vat of irn bru as a child.

I sadly can't find it on YouTube.
