They're still really evocative of the thing they're supposed to be while being incredibly simple. The little houses were brilliant to build and really cosy feeling, and there's nothing too them really.

Yeah it's that ability to capture the core of the object they are representing with a limited set of blocks that really impresses.

There are some amazing things that can be done with the more complex pieces available these days and that definitely is a good thing, but the charm of the older sets absolutely still has a place!

I don't remember the Willy Fogg intro being so... laboured? Guy doing Fogg's vocals sounds like they just grabbed him out of the pub or something! :lol:
