The military micro machines stuff were so cool to play around with. I played a lot of RTS games back then (still do) so I used to play with them as if it was a real life RTS. The Army Men games helped too :shifty:

I remember loving this when I was a kid.

My mum went spare though as I flooded our kitchen when I put it in the bath. You had to have the water really deep for it dive and at the age of seven I didn't fully understand Archimedes principle.

I had quite a few of those; again it was cool how everything that went on them could be kept inside the box when folded up. I had the toolbox and this:

Ohh, so that's what that one looks like whole. I actually found that but only the bottom half in the attack. It was missing the searchlight.

strawberry float I had that too. For some reason I specifically remember that little wall in the bottom right more than any of the other bits. Don't know why.

Nope

Was hoping I could introduce my kid into the world of micro machines and that but they're no longer available!

Something about Hasbro being bought out by a company.

I'm pretty sure I had a complete set, obtained through some fierce playground trading and negotiation.

Back to the 70s... Pocketeers were ace! They were small, handheld mechanical (rather than electronic) games.

I used to like the driving one. It was *incredibly* simple but fun!
