'At least I was wearing underwear': Emma Watson laughs off wardrobe malfunction on Letterman

After flashing a little more than she bargained for while adjusting her dress at the Harry Potter premiere, Emma Watson was back to her discreet best last night.
The 19-year-old actress was all blushes and giggles after she was grilled on U.S. television about the red carpet photo in which her underwear is on show.
Miss Watson, who endured torrential rain as she arrived at the opening of the sixth Potter film in London on Tuesday, described her blunder as a 'wardrobe malfunction' which she blamed on youthful inexperience.



However, during her interview on the David Letterman show last night, Miss Watson said she was thankful for one saving grace, telling the host: 'At least I'm wearing underwear.'
The picture showed her adjusting the bottom half of her free-flowing vintage 1970s Ozzie Clark dress - and inadvertently putting her underwear on display.
