This is the sort of thing I don't like about Hamilton, as it doesn't feel genuine and feels like he is trying to turn the situation to revolve around himself.

I agree

Looking good for yet another Mercedes 1-2 at Monaco, reckon third will be the most contested place between Vettel, Leclerc and Verstappen.

Ferrari :fp:

Part of me wants Mercedes to win every race just to show something needs to be done about these cars.

This season is a write off.

Hard to see how Ferrari could have botched this season more by this point.

I see Ferrari have been making stupid strategy calls yet again.

Gonna have an angry Leclerc going for some aggressive overtakes tomorrow.

How about they try adding weight to the winning car but unlike British Touring Cars it's the driver who has to add the extra weight so if Mercedes did win every race they'd have some mighty fat drivers :slol: .
Hamilton being forced onto on an all cake diet could be quite amusing :shifty: .

Well not at all surprised by the result of qualifying, top effort from both Mercedes drivers yet again, thought Bottas just had it but alas. Guess barring reliability it’ll be Hamilton - Bottas tomorrow, then Verstappen.

Ferrari just being Ferrari again

Well we all moan that Merc are walking away with it, but Ferrari seem to have a car that can challenge but they are just making an absolute hash of their season. The amount of mistakes the team and their drivers have made this one weekend is absolutely ridiculous.

They sacked Arrivabene after the mistakes in 2017 and 2018 but things are far, far worse now. I don't think I have seen a Ferrari team this bad since 1994. Fiat should be going cap in hand to Montezemelo to try and see if he can bring some stability at least, although he may turn it down because of his age. Since they forced him out, they have been on a steady decline.

Ferrari in the early 90's were the butt of many jokes, it was often a case of when, not if we'd see Jean Alesi walking away from a smoking car in disgust during a grand prix.

Yeah I know, I remember on the rare occasion they got in the lead, my Dad would say "they'll be blowing up in a minute" and sure enough a few laps later Alesi or Berger would be pulling over to the side in smoke.
