They seem to be the current rumours, gutted for Nico as while qualifying has been one sided he’s fared much better in the races for the most part, time will tell if Ocon will be better going forward but he does have age on his side.

The rumour was Hulkenberg to Haas wasn't it? He would be a massive upgrade on both current drivers so it would make sense.

Yeah that was the rumour as well, definitely an upgrade on both current drivers, except one of the few days Magnussen seems really on it which really doesn’t seem too often although its hard to tell in their current car which can sometimes work wonderfully in qualifying and then have woeful performance in the races.

Anyway F1 is back this weekend, round Spa :toot: Weirdly enough I think Spa and Monza probably provide Ferrari their best chance of winning a race at the remaining ones with the way they created their car, ie lower downforce and overall top speed, should definitely help at Monza at least.

There's no love lost at Haas, so whichever driver remains will probably be pretty happy with having a different team-mate.

Hulkenberg is hinting at an exiting Thursday on his social media, could be just joining in on the rumours (one of them was a picture of a magazine saying Ocon to Renault) or it could actually revealing his future.

Bottas retained by Mercedes and they’ve announced a 22 race calendar for 2020, couple to many in my opinion, going to be loads of back to back races in there.

Hulkenberg out and Ocon in at Renault as well, gutted for Hulkenberg as he really hasn’t been far off Ricciardo on the whole.

Ouch, 7 back to back race weekends :dread:

Not going to be much longer before they’ll just be racing constantly, with a rolling calendar and WDC/WCC being decided at the last race in December before restarting in January.

Much as I love F1 race weekends, the ever-expanding calendar must suck for the workers and their families

I think I might have mentioned this before but I wonder how many races they can actually do with mainly one race team 22 surely has to be very near the limit for all the race team and while I imagine Mercedes, Ferrari, Red Bull, maybe McLaren and Renault will probably be able to field a second race team should the need arise will the other 5 teams be able to do the same with the much smaller budgets they’re running on? Or will they sit out of a few races a year to manage it with one team?

Absolutely horrendous crash at the top of Eau Rouge in the F2 race. I have seen the footage from Twitter as Sky were not running replays. Easily one of the worst crashes I have seen. Either one of the drivers is seriously injured or its a worst case scenario. The race has been called off. :(

Saw the footage on Twitter. strawberry floating hell. That's one of the worst looking accidents I've ever seen.

Didn’t see the accident as I’ve just finished watching qualifying, sounds nasty though.

I think what happened is a car lost control just after Eau Rouge, hit the wall and rebounded back into the circuit. Hit side on by another car at full speed (which is damn high after that corner). One of the cars looked like it had been cut in half. I don't want to watch it again until I've heard both drivers are safe, tbh. Wouldn't recommend it until that news is out.
