After nearly breaking our sofa jumping out of my seat shouting in excitement at the rugby yesterday, the contrast to watching this is just :simper:

This sport is so strawberry floating dull 90% of the time. Can't wait for the new regs.

Hamilton’s going to win this I feel, Vettel had a stellar first stint but his pace on the hard tyres has been woeful unless it’s all just a team game to bring Leclerc into play?

Not a lot of action, but as a Hamilton fan that race suited me perfectly

Well they look alright, imagine the actual cars will look a fair bit different from those renders though. If the changes they’re implementing all work, 2021 could be a great season, could......

It really wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if it’s the same as usual, with Mercedes/Ferrari/Red Bull making up the top 3 and the rest filling in behind in various orders. Reckon with the cost cap Racing Point could be one to watch out for, they’ve always been good value for money in the past.

It would be nice if the teams were allowed to design the cars instead of the FIA.

This is my concern. While it looks cool, it could also look like a bunch of nearly identical concept cars.

Nice qualifying session, top 3 from 3 teams. Really close as well with a tenth between the top 3 as well.

I would have watched qualifying, had Channel 4 not decided to screen it at nearly 1am!

Well it didn’t finish until 10pm and I expect Sky impose rules on the gap between it finishing and when C4 can show it. Either way it’s not their fault.

I do genuinely hope that when Sky’s current deal has come to an end they get much better free to air coverage in the UK, can’t remember how much longer it has though.

Anyway nearly race time! Could be a good start with the the way the grid is, Hamilton needs to get a perfect start or he might get overtaken by a couple of drivers on the soft tyre, still though I doubt he will take many (if any) risks as he basically just needs to finish to get his 6th WDC, even without trying the car is minimum P6 come the end of the race.

Edit, that anthem rendition was woefully bad :fp:
