Got to love the sky defence force making all sorts of excuses for him. If kimi had done that they'd be saying he didn't deserve that seat.

Should have just bailed and gone down the escape road rather than try and commit to the corner, shame as he wa looking good for a second pole although Mercedes have closed the gap considerably since FP3.

Good job by Bottas and Mercedes, just wish they wouldn’t constantly feel the need to downplay their performance only for them to go and lock out the front row, I know they were helped by the cooling temperature today but it’s not the first time they’ve done this and won’t be the last.

Surely all teams will do this to protect the engine etc.

Yeah they all will re to be engine, I’m more referring to the Mercedes team/drivers constantly saying how quick and amazing Ferrari are just to go and beat them week in, week out. At the moment Bahrain is definitely looking like an anomaly for Ferrari and Mercedes, even then Mercedes still got a 1-2 to Leclerc having a mechanical issue and Vettel spinning.

Good point as already been said I think that Leclerc has been unlucky and decisions haven't helped Ferrari.

Toto - "ya for sure it was a tough race, dey booshed us hard, Lewis had to manage da engine for da last stint bud we got da result and valtaree also held on with car issues"

Mercedes finish a lap ahead of everyone else.

Toto saying a handful of drivers can win the race today, just as well he can only fit Hamilton and Bottas into his hands then.

Can this weekend actually get any worse for Williams? Kubica now has a drive through for being put in the pit lane too early.

He’s definitely on the better strategy due to his slight error in Q2 but yeah he’s really doing a good job, don’t see him winning today (or probably getting second) unless a safety car helps him out but I can definitely see him finishing 3rd ahead of Vettel.

Ricciardo a bit too late on the brakes there. Surprised they’ve not pitted Leclerc yet, presume it won’t be long mind.

Are they intentionally strawberry floating leclerc to put him behind Vettel? No reason not to have pitted him then.

God knows, I doubt Ferrari know either. Surprised how strong the Red Bull’s pace is, especially in the hands of Verstappen. Leclerc is around 25 seconds off a podium now with 25 seconds to go, a safety car in the next few laps will really mess his race up as the 4 ahead of him can just pit for fresh tyres.
