They sacked Arrivabene after the mistakes in 2017 and 2018 but things are far, far worse now. I don't think I have seen a Ferrari team this bad since 1994. Fiat should be going cap in hand to Montezemelo to try and see if he can bring some stability at least, although he may turn it down because of his age. Since they forced him out, they have been on a steady decline.

Their car might be able to challenge every now and then, sadly not enough to provide a season long WDC/WCC fight. It’s amazing how they continue to mess up, even if their car isn’t up to scratch, errors such as leaving Leclerc sat in the garage so he misses out on Q2 just shouldn’t happen.

Ferrari in the early 90's were the butt of many jokes, it was often a case of when, not if we'd see Jean Alesi walking away from a smoking car in disgust during a grand prix.

Yeah I know, I remember on the rare occasion they got in the lead, my Dad would say "they'll be blowing up in a minute" and sure enough a few laps later Alesi or Berger would be pulling over to the side in smoke.

I still remember Monza '95, when Alesi & Berger were comfortably leading after Schumi & Hill collided. Only for Alesi's on board camera to fly off and wreck Berger's suspension, Alesi himself meanwhile ended up in the pits with a smoky car not long after.

Things weren't much better the following year when Schumi ended up with his engine exploding on the formation lap at Magny Cours, but at least by the seasons end they had begun to turn a corner.

During '96, the late Jim Bamber even drew a cartoon in which the Ferrari crew were noosed up on the gallows only for the lever to break when Irvine tried to pull it.

No idea why they even attempt a grid walk in Monaco, it’s ridiculous how busy it is.

Leclerc went from hero to zero quite quickly there..... taking tips from Vettel and spinning himself out.

Think Verstappen got away lightly with that, normally they’re pretty harsh on unsafe releases.

Well after a good opening 20 laps this has dropped right off, always the same with Monaco though. So much promise and so many what ifs but very rarely comes to anything. On the off chance Hamilton’s tyres do go massively off Vettel is looking good for the win unless Verstappen can make a 5 second gap.

I can't imagine how tough it must be driving this with no grip at all with Verstappen sat on your gearbox.

I can’t even do it in game on fresh tyres with full traction control.
