Was reading this just now about the accident, and the Spa circuit bosses want to replace the tarmac runoff at radillion with a gravel trap.

The gravel traps were there for a reason, and i do wonder that had they still been there, then the F2 car might not have bounced back on to the racing line. I've long felt that tarmac runoff is more dangerous, especially after Carlos Sainz had a huge shunt at sochi and the tarmac runoff did nothing to slow the car down.
