Sky Glass advert again

Why the hell would you want to watch the live race and highlights at the same time?

strawberry floating out of order to ask Checo to follow team orders.
Charles is out and P2 for max will be enough.

And he hasn't driven level headed enough to be given the win that easily either. Sergio has done great all race.

Weird pitting Russell. Bottas didn't seem to be catching him, and Sainz was way back. Is the fastest lap point that important to him? Especially when it was probably going to be going to Hamilton.

Perez definitely deserves at least scrapping it out for a bit, I can understand if they tell them to hold position 5 laps from the end as the last thing any team wants is both their drivers messing up so close to the end.

Excellent result for Hamilton if it ends like this.

Great drive by Hamilton. Russell will finish ahead of him again, but considering the start, don't think many can argue against Hamilton has had the better performance.

Quite a few really good performances today in my opinion,

Hamilton from next to last to 4th with no SC help, really good lap times too.
Russell has shown he’s really got what it takes when he gets a WDC car.
Norris was apparently throwing up before the race but he’s got his head down and on course to finish 8th.
Both Alpine drivers have had a really good race.
Tsunoda and Vettel have both had good races, the Aston definitely has better race pace than qualifying, although Stroll is quite a way behind Vettel.

Only a few drivers have had a poor race really.

Just realised this is the British Grand Prix weekend. I'm already booked for an all weekend BBQ and beer session with my brother :(

Edit: I meant to post this in the London meetup thread  :fp:

It was a pretty decent race until Leclerc was robbed by the engine dying, wasn't too bad after that was it was a gift of a win for Max.

Mercedes will definitely be in contention for wins pretty soon based on this improvement, they may even be able to drag themselves back into title contention if Ferrari and Red Bull keep having gremlins. Its a long shot, but it's not quite completely over for them.

Just stuck the Ch.4 highlights on and seeing Tom cruise, Webber, DC and Steve bombing around made me wish they were the Top Gear presenters
