Hamilton really is a class act these days, I really do think his almost comical season of coming togethers with Massa back in 2011 put me off him for a while

Anyhow, slowly getting the 2023 thread written up this evening, anyone got a snappy headline for the thread name?

Watched that race last night.

Between him and his team they really screwed him. Literally a lap earlier to come in and he would have been fine, but they pushed it to far and instead of him taking the WDC (All he had to do was come second and beat Alonso) his tyre goes pop and he beaches himself in the gravel trap right at the Pit entrance. :fp:

While I know Hamilton doesn't win in Brazil, I'm not sure who does, but I think my money has to be on Raikkonen. He drove phenomenally well and to put himself back in contention after a slow first half of the season was a great job. He definitely has been performing much better than Alonso, who is a bit all over the place at times. I'll probably watch that tonight or tomorrow I think.

The two sides of the garage were so focused on beating each other (can you imagine being on Hamilton's crew and realising you're going to win a WDC on the first try), and more specifically beating Alonso that they ignored all logic. In those last two races he just needed one top five in either, and they could have sealed it there but all they cared about was beating Alonso.

I still want a ProDrive team :( .

A 4 wheel drive F1 car would be pretty special.
