I think a combination of the new regs and this track probably means the grid won't stay shuffled for too long.

Alonso thinks his race is with Hamilton but the Merc looks so much faster than the Alpine. Just don't see how you can hold someone off on those straights when they have so much speed advantage.

Hamilton has really good pace so far, hope they swap him and Russell as soon as he’s on his rear.

Haas have had an awful race after a stellar qualifying.

I don't think anyone is getting through this without another stop.

So Alonso, Leclerc and Stroll are on a one stop. Think most will be on a 2 stop, Vettel is on a god knows how many stops. Such an odd race so far, been rather dull for a Canadian Grand Prix so far.

Why don't they pit Charles? I don't get this fighting hard with Ocon when they know they have to bring him in in the next 5 or so laps anyway and will go back behind him.

Everyone who’s not pitted is just hanging on for a SC, kind of think they need to limit pitting under SC/VSC unless you’ve been on tyres for more than the recommended laps, or have front wing damage.
