Yeah, i think with a better configuration, they could really improve things as it's not a bad location to hold the race (and the track is okay to drive in the F1 game).

Maybe get rid of that chicane before they go on to the back straight for a start, as that makes the hairpin tighter and the cars find it harder to follow one another through there as a result.

There's still an empty slot on the calendar next spring, they could pop it in the schedule and revive the San Marino GP.

Sure Sky it was since some time in the 80’s? Might have misheard though.

I was going to say about cutting out the first chicane before the first DRS zone, would be a much faster entry into the braking zone that way and you might get a couple of passes before the first DRS zone.

I’d like to see a lot of this years one off tracks return!

Nope that would be the 1980 season where they managed to score only 8 points ending in 10th place although back then the points given out was only for the top 6 finishers

I've thoroughly enjoyed this season. I think the break from the norm of the usual calendar has been a breathe of fresh air. Portugal, Turkey and the outer Bahrain tracks were my highlights, best moment by far was Gasly winning the Italian GP.

Yeah, it's been a great season, and i agree that the divergence from the usual calendar really helped.

Loved Mugello, the Bahrain outer track was fantastic, Portimao was a fun addition, and it was great to see the return of Imola and Istanbul Park.

Porsche to return to Le Mans 24 Hours with LMDh prototype from 2023

Porsche will return to the Le Mans 24 Hours with an LMDh prototype in 2023 as part of a dual assault on the World Endurance Championship and IMSA SportsCar Championship.

Tsunoda gets the nod from Red Bull to join Alpha Tauri. Good choice, can't imagine its a Honda pushed replacement given they are on their way out again. I think that means Kyvat is gone, but Gasly and Tsunoda is a really strong pairing.

Wonder if they’ll have as much success as their last spell in the top category.

I thought they’d give him a second year in F2, will be good to see how he compares against Gasly who’s had a good season. Wonder what this means for the Perez/Albon choice then? Maybe a reserve driver for Albon at Red Bull?

A sad snippet from Ross Brawn, reflecting on Mick Schumacher

"And I think it reminds us of the tragedy of Michael's accident, because, how wonderful it would have been if Michael was able to participate in that.
"I mean, none of us know how much Michael is able to understand. But if he'd been part of that - and let's hope and pray that one day, he might be - that would be very, very special."

That might be the most concise update on his health in six years. Is a indication on where Michael is these days which is very sad :(

Tsunoda will be the first Japanese driver in F1 since Kobayashi in 2014, strange really as for many, many years, there was always at least 1 Japanese driver in the sport.

I feel a bit bad for laughing at this

I do hope Michael has some sense of things though, even if he’s not able to do much. Seeing his son make it in Formula 1 would make him so proud.

Has it been that long?

I vividly remember his podium at Suzuka, was a tremendous atmosphere due to Kobayashi being on there!

Formula 1 and MotoGP venue Catalunya will reinstate a modified layout of the old Turn 10 following safety improvements made in conjunction with the FIA and FIM.

Good, it had a much better flow anyways, now they should ditch that dreadful chicane at the end of the lap and restore the circuit to it's former glory (especially since the current generation of cars seem to need a fast corner before the straight/DRS zone in order to overtake better).
