Id love to see a reduced season to see what the top teams pull put performance wise when the points available far less. 8 engines to last 8 races? Turn those strawberry floaters right up and I'm actually going for a decent result rather than just cruise around.

Even if they just had 12 races they should be good to go flat out a lot more with their 3 power units rather than stretching them thin to 22.

I agree they should do that for one race at least seeing as it won't be a full season

Not surprised about Bahrain, it was only a week away after all.

Hopefully by the time Spain comes round, the worst will be over and things will be able to get underway again.

I guess they’ll reassess after what would have been the Vietnamese Grand Prix and make a decision then. Street tracks I can see being called off completely unless the situation improves a lot, I suppose a lot of the tracks can sustain the teams on site and they can run behind closed doors but the ones where the tracks are in very close proximity to cities may still have to be cancelled/postponed indefinitely.

In other news the WRC is still going on this weekend, suppose that has the benefit of not that many fans compared to F1 and what fans do attend will be spread over the course’s route rather than all in a relatively small area.

so with races across the Motorsport calendar which were supposed to happen this weekend or in the coming weekend and the coming few months what races will you be watching till F1 starts and other series begin later in the year.

I will finish watching the Daytona 24 hours and my plan is too watch some old Nascar races from the late 80's and 90's as well as watch the 2009 Sebring 12 hours as that race has a great battle between Audi & Peugeot

Not sure if anyone else will be watching but in the absence of an actual grand prix it might be a laugh to watch. 5:45 pm on Sunday if anyone is interested.

Be watching the WRC unless that gets cancelled, might get round to watching the highlights I bought for the last few years 24 Horus of Le Mans. Might finally get around to watching the 2018 British Grand Prix as well as I’m still yet to watch the televised version of that one.

The f1 2019 game is free to play for the next 3 days on steam at the moment. I've not played it (no vr no play) but as the official Twitter account is posting hot laps in lieu of a gp weekend, I'm going to give it a go, break the world record and become internet famous.

Since most drivers have their own Simulators rinning Rfactor can we not just have a full season of eSport formula 1 to fill in the postponed races

Only a matter of time before the WRC season gets partly cancelled as well. Not seen anything about the 24 hours of Le Mans yet though? Presume that’s one race in the WEC calendar they’ll be desperate to go ahead if possible.

Just put on season 2 of Drive to Survive, I’d forgotten they weren’t hour long episodes so binging it won’t take too long actually!

Edit, I quite enjoyed season 1 of Drive to Survive but 2 episodes into season 2 it’s rather dull, I’ll power through it just to get a bit of an F1 fix  hopefully it improves somewhat.

At least we’ll get more racing in the night? It does look glorious at night. Same weekend as Singapore if that goes ahead so it’ll be a good weekend for racing fans.

Edit, episode 3 of Drive to Survive is a lot better than the first 2, episode 2 was particularly poor, Haas just came across quite poorly in it.

2021 reg change pushed back to 2022, teams will use their 2020 car for 2021. 2022 could be utterly amazing, none of the teams will be able to complain they’ve not had the time to give it a real go. New financial rules still come into play from 2021 though.
