How many more races are left in the season and when would the next season be?

I imagine they should be able to cobble a season together next March given the cars will be the same. Maybe a European race to start the year or something, but I'd be surprised if the 2021 season wouldn't start in March.

I think the line up will be a hybrid of most of the normal tracks usede, along with a few of this year's new ones (would be great to see another race at Mugello) dotted in amongst the line up.

Also, considering the current problems in Azerbaijan, is F1 really going to be returning to Baku any time soon?

It’d have been fascinating to see how different 2009 would have if Honda would have stuck it out one more season (at least), would they have been the WDC and WCC? Would they have sold to Mercedes anyway leading to one of the most dominant eras of the sport? Would Button have ended a multiple WDC rather than just the one? Would Mercedes not supplying Brawn GP with engines meant they just became more involved in McLaren and it would have been a McLaren Mercedes period of dominance from 2014?

Watched Senna again yesterday.

I still feel the exact same way I did when I first watched it - the Imola weekend shouldn't have continued after Ratzenberger's accident (Barrichello's accident is crazy as well).

Agreed, when Ratzenberger was killed, it should have been called off (especially as Barrichello was nearly killed on the friday too).

The cars of early 1994 were fundamentally unstable anyways, there had already been injuries before that weekend as a result (Alesi missed Imola after crashing at Mugello of all places) and it was a disaster waiting to happen.

Pedro Lamy's crash at Silverstone could of been fatal sounds a scary horrific crash and Karl Wendlinger was very lucky after his crash at Monaco F1 was cursed during May 1994

The Lamy crash was entirely avoidable, the FIA ordered teams to cut out parts of the cars in order to slow them down, and that was what led to Lamy's rear wing failure.

and will be intresting what that new grandstand will like at the top Eau Rouge/Raidillon. Crazy that Spa is getting a revamp again when its last upgrade was not that long ago

I've been watching the Race to Perfection documentary series today. Three episodes in and I'm a bit disappointed by it to be honest. It's well produced and vaguely interesting but it's pretty standard stuff, the like of which they'll just trot out over weekends to fill some time. Generally more highlights package than documentary really.

I'm up to date on all of them and it has given me a decent insight into the early years although they do seem to repeats bit the more you watch. Definitely enjoyed the series.
