Bottas must get so fed up sometimes. Hamilton pips him to pole yet again despite being behind him in all 3 practice sessions.

Did anyone hear Verstappen's radio yesterday? Apparently, the Red Bull team have now spoken to him about the language he's using.

Watched a bit of this, Spa is just gorgeous whatever the weather, racing’s not bad either!

That’s why Hamilton is one of the GOAT, he can just find another tenth or two when he really needs to and subsequently gets the job done, Bottas is good but just not Hamilton good consistently enough. Surely Verstappen realises you can’t say some of that stuff in this day and age as well?

Liking the Portimao circuit, that final corner looks mighty.

It's insane that F1 ended up at dull tracks like Sochi when places like this and Mugello exist.

For me it's 6.30, because C4 highlights.

Didn’t get to watch qualifying yesterday but have it recorded. Do I watch that or the pre-race build up?

First response decides for me.

Cheers! Got it on now and just looked at the qualifying results on the F1 Instagram. Usual top 3 then I see.

Would've been quite harsh of me to direct you to the build up if it had been a wet quali with a Danny Ric/Gasly/Norris top three ;-)

I find the build up quite hit or miss, sometimes it had loads of good segments in, or a bit of excitement to discuss but sometimes it’s rather dull. I find that I have the build up on more as background watching rather than glued to it like I used to be, it I record it I just flick through it and see what grabs my eye.

What a start!

Would love for Sainz to be able to hold on to this.

Seriously F1 really should be a predominantly European championship, few good tracks elsewhere that could make it a world championship but there’s so many great and underused tracks (by F1 anyway) in Europe that they could probably rotate a lot of them and still have a better calendar each year. Instead we’ll be getting 22+ races round some awful tracks by comparison.

Edit, DRS zone a little too long round here.

Albon is done. They've given him two more races and this isn't good enough.
