Mor often than not I’ve always liked the Red Bull livery, being so similar to last years is no bad thing, same with Ferrari and Mercedes would have been better if they stuck with last years as well, something just doesn’t look right on it this year.
To be honest I haven't really got into the new car launches since the 90s. Now it is all manufacturers or big companies running the teams, and there is a lack of fluid sponsorship opportunities, there is very little change in the colour of the cars. Too many teams seem to be in the business of having a particular corporate look/brand.
Don't get me wrong, there are some iconic team colours on the grid, but people seem most excited about a tiny splash of red on the Merc or Ferrari having slightly different car number designs.
The biggest problem i think nowadays is less the colour schemes (some of which are actually pretty decent), more the fact that all the cars look identical, not just when comparing teams, but comparing year on year.
Even in the 2000's, the cars would look noticeably different from one another because back then the teams themselves were allowed to design the cars, and new innovations and concepts would pop up all the time.
Oh and Renault's 'launch' shows pretty much naff all...
It's crap that there'll be little to no snow for the Swedish Rally but why cancel a stage for something out of their control? Surely they could just run the stage on the surface underneath whether it be tarmac or gravel. Or is the issue that they aren't snow covered roads/paths but actually just roads cut out of the snow and ice? I don't actually know.

Yes they do all look quite similar these days compared to what we used to have, still amazing how much the performance differs between the teams though. With the regulations staying so similar between 2019 and 2020 hopefully everyone will be a little closer together.
Don't know why Renault bothered either, no car to show and apparently its just a testing livery but I bet it'll be pretty similar to last years, hopefully with a little more yellow.
I still don't like the orange with the blue. Can't really see McLaren making too much progress this year, as next season you have the new regs and they switch back to Merc. Wonder whether they will go for orange and grey next year.
Last years was better, looks like matte is slowly becoming more popular though. If they go silver and orange for 2021 it’ll look like a retro Force India circa 2015/16.
Should be a good fight (again) between McLaren and Renault, feels like the winner will be who wants to spend more on this year when big changes are coming next year.
Yeah i know, it's the regs fault, the designers have no choice but there used to be a time when you didn't know what the hell this years car was going to look like, when car launches were genuinely exciting, now it's just.......last years car but longer.
