Bernie lost the plot ages ago, i'm surprised anyone still listens to him.

That is a wonderful video. love the shot of him going past from inside the casino!

Those drivers really were made of something else as well, the current crop have to be a brave bunch but considering how much more fragile the cars were and how much more exposed the drivers are to the current day cars, must have been one hell of an adrenaline rush though!

Edit, just thought I'd see how the progress in terms of page/post count varies to the 2019 thread considering the lack of racing in general and we have reached page 27 faster than last year! Page 27 was hit on the 30th of June where we had a classic race round Austria with a cracking race between Max and Charles.

Can’t wait :D

I’ll leave the poll running till Friday evening anyway, that way we can have FP1/2 times to give some idea and people can change their vote accordingly, while it’s going to be an odd season I think it could be a cracker! Not seen anything saying that the teams aren’t allowed 3 engines so we should see the likes of Mercedes and Ferrari be able to run their engines nearer the limit as they’ll have far fewer races to do.

Just realised with Vettel leaving Ferrari (and sadly, probably F1) that I’ll need a new avatar from next year :(

That reminds me, there's still a lot about the performance levels that we don't know yet (especially as it's been ages since winter testing and new parts will have been added to the cars), i think there's gonna be a few surprises once things get underway (also, turn 1 at Austria has over the years, produced plenty of contact at the start).

I still think force India could sneak a win in the first couple of races.

I’d forgotten about the W10 Racing Point, I actually reckon they could give Red Bull and Ferrari a run for their money on some tracks.

Imagine their first win coming from last years WDC/WCC winning car rather than their own  If Mercedes run into issues early on it could be a possibility though.

The Racing Point could well be very quick, and i think the first race could prove to be quite unpredictable.

The late 90's was a golden age for F1.

The cars from the late 90’s to mid 2000’s look so much quicker than current cars and I’m not sure why? Is it a difference in camera angles used? That the cars are so much lighter they look a bit more alive? The sound definitely helps as well.

Not a fan of the new Mercedes livery, looks alright but I get they’re doing it for the right reasons.

That looks strawberry floating awesome. I wonder what it will look like on the track though, as black cars always look a bit like back markers to me, as the likes of Minardi and the recent black Mclarens have soured that colour.
