Great to see Imola getting a race, Nurburgring is a decent track too (even despite the awful Tilke designed mickey mouse bit at the start of the lap).

I don't know enough about Portimao to be able to make any kind of judgement yet though.

I've been in the eifel region during late November and even then there was only a light dusting of snow.

Should be fine to race there in October.

Algarve/[Portimao has a lot of elevation changes

I like the idea of no practice most likely at Imola, Nascar is doing something similar get too the track and pretty much race.

Italy is hosting 3 races on 3 different tracks shame F1 could not do the same and race at Silverstone & Brands Hatch or somewhere like Donington park or Snetterton

I see no reason why Donington couldn't host a race, they've done it before, and were due to do it again a few years back until things went against them.

EDIT: Just seen that the Imola race will be called the Emilia-Romagna GP, why not call it the San Marino GP?

It’d have been ace to have the F1 back at Brands Hatch or Donnington

Portimao looks cracking to drive though.

The Nurburgring race will be called the Eifel Grand Prix.

Wouldn't it have made more sense to have been the German GP? It's not as if there's gonna more than one race in the country this season.

There's some serious politics to the naming.

I'm loving the calendar this year, so many gooseberry fool stop start modern circuits bejng ditched and replaced with proper tracks :toot:

It's a shame they weren't able to add Estoril to the line up too.

I’d happily take this calendar every year! With a few of the better overseas ones thrown in of course in Australia, Japan, Canada and Brazil being the highlights for myself.
